The Living Room is located at 154 Ludlow St between Stanton and Rivington). The artists who will be performing include the following.
Drexel and the Bootleggers
Drexel Baker III was born in Louisiana and grew up in Arkansas. He has lived all over the US and even in Australia, but not until he moved to New York did he begin to mine these experiences and record the songs he had been writing all along the way. Following in the traditions of Tom Petty, Neil Young, and Paul Westerberg, Drexel expresses outside ideas and attitudes through familiar rock rhythms.
Ernie Cruz, Sr
Ernie Cruz, Sr is widely known in his home state as the yodeling, singing, picking musical cowboy of Hawaii. With decades of experience both in life as a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War and father of 11 and in the music industry with dozens of recordings under his belt, Ernie continues to record and perform.
One Right Turn
One Right Turn is a musical family affair from Hawaii, two young sisters, Tiffa and Connie hailing from the amazing Hawaiian musical Cruz family and Tiffa's husband Imua Garza - former lead singer and founding member of the Opihi Pickers. Combined they create smart pop music with beautiful harmonies and musicianship.
The Moonlighters
The Moonlighters have been an integral part of the New York City jazz and pop music scenes since they formed in 1998. Based around a core of harmonized vocal duets backed by warm acoustic instruments including Hawaiian lap steel guitar, ukulele, guitar and bass, they explore traditional and classic tunes with a unique, romantic approach that is appealing to listeners of all ages.
