TREBLE WINS THE NATIONAL SONG CONTEST

Amsterdam � Dutch singing sensation Treble wipes out the competition to take first place at the NOS Song Festival on Sunday evening, March 12th. Treble took the stage and performed a three song set in front of an enthusiastic crowd at Heineken Hall. The festival was broadcast live to over 1.5 million television viewers. The juried panel chose their song "Amambanda" to compete in the finale against rivals Behave and Maude.
During the finale each artist performed the song selected by the panel. Their performance was then judged by the Television viewing audience by way of text messaging in their votes. It wasn�t even close � Treble swept the competition winning with over 73% of the call in votes. This is the largest margin of victory in the history of the competition.
This win earns Treble the opportunity to compete in the EuroVision Song Contest. Treble will represent The Netherlands in this European wide competition to take place in Athens, Greece May 18th through May 20th.
