Amy Hanaiali'i Gilliom performs Exclusive Show at The Great Hall of the People in Beijing

On June 13th, Amy Hanaiali'i Gilliom performed to the who's who of both Hawaii and China in a rare concert at The Great Hall of the People in Beijing, China. This concert is very historical in that The Great Hall of the People is one of China's most exclusive buildings.
The concert also included performances by dancers from the Polynesian Cultural Center and some of Tibet's finest singers, dancers, and musicians. This immensely successful event was covered by CCTV, China's largest national Television Broadcaster.
This event is part of a 10-day trade mission to China and Korea, organized by the State of Hawai�i, which will expand Hawaii�s business, educational, and cultural opportunities. (Photo Courtesy of Rick Oshea)
